Site Manager
Location: Office locations are Deeside and Stoke, site locations UK wide
To lead and manage site teams in the successful delivery of electrical installations, ensuring works are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and organising installation activities and labour resources in line with project priorities. Working closely with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standards. Managing the procurement of materials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and actively overseeing and enforcing site health and safety to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate project and service activities, allocating teams effectively to meet priorities, deadlines, and operational requirements.
- Arrange and manage specialised works in accordance with applicable standards, including the procurement of materials, equipment, and resources as required.
- Deliver specialised works to the required standards, ensuring the appropriate use of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Supervising teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Compile, maintain, and review project and compliance records in line with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and legislation.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and all other applicable statutory and company requirements.
- Proactively address incidents or operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimise disruption and resolve problems effectively.
- Liaise with customers to understand expectations, maintain clear communication, and support appropriate customer involvement throughout delivery.
Essential requirements
- Proven working experience in electrical installations, site supervision and site management within the automation controls systems sector.
- Good working knowledge of the automation industry.
- Good working knowledge of electrical standards.
- Qualified electrician
- Test and inspection qualification (preferred not required)
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Site and office based work experience.
Project Manager
Deeside & Stoke Offices, UK Wide Sites
The primary objectives of this role are to manage the commercial and delivery aspects of projects, including procurement, resource planning, and project budget control to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. You will oversee multiple projects to ensure they are executed in line with contractual requirements, company policies, and financial targets. The role includes coordinating with internal and external teams and suppliers, managing costs and variations, and liaising with clients to provide accurate quotations and budget forecasts for electrical services and projects.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager

Essential Requirements and Personal Attributes
For the Site Manager role, a strong understanding of electrical standards and a qualification in test and inspection are preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial. For the Project Manager position, proven experience in electrical installations and project management within the automation sector is essential, along with a Certificate of Higher Education.
Personal attributes for both roles include confidence, capability, and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility and a full UK driving licence are also required. Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills are vital to thrive in our dynamic work environment.
